This is an event that celebrates all things agriculutral and it  has been running for the past 24 years and has grown from a one day show to a major 2 day event. The 2008 event will be held form the 28th to 29th of June....

Samhain is the ancient pagan festival of the dead. During this time the shroud between this world and the next is thinner that at any time during the year. The festival with include a variety of music styles, home brewed and from abroad such as bodhran playing and African drums. There will also be plenty of singing and dancing to this wild and wonderful event.This event usually takes place on the October Bank Holiday Weekend....

Mitchelstown Good Food and Arts Festival is mid Munster's premier event of its kind. now in its fifth year. It has a wide range of food, arts and family centred activities of interest to all ages....

This annual event sees many of the best fine arts and crafts on sale to the public in one place. This fashion extravaganza with many designer knits, hand painted silk scarves and extravagant jewellery will be sure to be a dream weekend for the ladies. There are also plenty of beautiful quilts, ceramics, candles, mosaics and slate crafts that are sure to add a real touch of class to any home....

Our festival caters for young and old with everything from threshing, vintage steam rally amusements, music, bar facilities, monster market and car boot sale....

This is one of the three largest Jazz festivals in the world and is a premiere event in Ireland that has continued for many years. Each year this event brings in over 40,000 visitors to the city. People flock to see over 1,000 musicians and entertainers from over 30 countries performing their acts in the pubs and clubs scattered throughout the city.

For the weeks approaching Christmas, where would you be without a visit for all the family to see Santa? You will be treated by a visit by Mrs Claus and several of their hard-working elves. Take a trip over to the Christmas Markets with the Swiss style stalls, live crib, carol singing and much more of the festive spirit....

Walks are graded and guided and include walks of Toe Head, Glandore, Skibbereen Trail Famine Walk, Lough Hyne, Union Mall/Myross and Gougane Barra.
